Faith Made a Mountain, Part Two

Judi, Leonard, Me, and Big Smiles
Catch some Joy
Sunday I told you about the trip we made to Salvation Mountain the day before.
Five days later, Leonard and his mountain are still very much in my heart. I keep reflecting on his joy. If you go to see Salvation Mountain, Leonard will want to talk to you. And if you chat with Leonard, you will be listening to a man who is consumed with joy by his labor for his Lord.
Living in the simplest conditions imaginable (well, within a developed nation, anyway), Leonard devotes his life to glorifying God by adding to Salvation Mountain. It makes him happy.
It’s refreshing, in this stuff-driven, accumulative world of ours, to spend time with someone who delights in his life because of his service, instead of his possessions.
We couldn’t contain our smiles when we were with Leonard. He overflows with joy, and it’s catching.

God is Love

7 You have given me greater joy
than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.
8 In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for You alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
Psalm 4:7-8 (NLT)
