Weekend Reflection: Fear Not!

joy

Cadence and Me, Conquering the Stairs. Christmas, 2008.

There were sheepherders camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you’re to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.”

Luke 2:8-12 (MSG)

  1. What a treat to see you… looking like me with jeans and goood solid shoes. [Well, I don’t wear shoes any more than necessary, which is usually b/c of the cold.] Anyhow, it was neat to see you, your little one, and the Word. OF COURSE, also the Christmas decorations. Makes me rejoice every year.

Bless you and yours as the time continues to move us forward for Him and for them.

  2. What an adorable Christmas morning photo! Makes me miss those early walking days with my children, the pure excitement and fearlessness. Lovely to meet you from The Sunday Community!

  3. This makes me smile. What a joy grandchildren are.

  4. Happy Sunday! I’m resting today~suffering from a bad cold.
    Love the photo.
    Have a blessed day.
