The Pacific Ocean
1 Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born
Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.Psalm 90:1-2 (NASB)
It’s the weekend. Around here we remove our shoes, step into the holy, and tour the stillness. First, stop by Sandra Heska King’s place for Still Saturday. Next, drop by Lisha Epperson’s City Girl Soul for Give me Grace. Deidra Riggs has passed her lovely Sunday Community on to Lisha’s stewardship, graciousness upon grace. It’s new. Come and see. You’ll join us, yes? We’ve saved a place for you.
Beautiful. I live in the Pacific Northwest and that Ocean is amazing. Beautiful verse.
Thank you, Sharon. We are heading to Oregon next month. Looking forward to a more northern perspective on our beautiful coast.
Your photo is so beautiful and I love the verse. Here from still saturday!
Welcome, Elizabeth! I’m so glad you came by! Thank you for your kind words.
Where are you headed in Oregon?
Official destination is Eugene, but we plan to take a quick ramble through more of the state.
under two hours to where i am. just sayin’
forgot to change my email and website on here.
thanks for the blog visit.
It was my pleasure. And thanks for the floral demystification–the buds looked like lisianthus to me, but the bloom and foliage weren’t right for that.
That photo is stunning. The only time I’ve been near the west coast is when we honeymooned in San Francisco.
I think you need to come visit, Sandra.
The Atlantic’s my stomping ground … the ocean moves me every time. I think you get what I’m saying, my friend!
Linda, I do.
I’ve lived my entire life in southern California, except for a year in Polynesia. So I’m always surprised when I visit a place that is far from the ocean, or when I stop to reflect how many people live their entire lives and never see an ocean.
This is gorgeous as usual… Word and world. Thanks for sharing so beautifully with reality.
Thank you! You’re such an encourager.
we should have a small ‘Oregon’ gathering when you get here. Eugene is about 75 minutes from my house maybe a bit longer depending on traffic.
That’s a sweet thought, Sharon. 🙂
Oh the beautiful Pacific Ocean. I’ve lived close to it most of my life. I love to go there, dream of retiring there, but it’s good to dream. I can drive there in 1.5 hours. Stay all day, eat good food, walk the beach and take tons of photos and pray the sunset will be spectacular for photographing. Thanks for sharing your scripture for the day.
Yes, Becky, it is good to dream. Thank you for sharing yours–it’s a privilege to know it. So glad you came by.
