Weekend Reflection: No Lines

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
2 For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.

Psalm 24:1-2 (NASB)

It’s the weekend. Around here we remove our shoes and tour the stillness. Start with Sandra Heska King’s Still Saturday.  Then drop by Deidra Riggs’ Sunday Community. You’ll join us, yes? We’ve saved you a place.

Make your own scrumptious WordCandy. You’ll love it. And it’s calorie-free.

  1. I don’t think I’ve seen this piece of Candy before. I love it! And how can we separate life and art when life would not exist without the great Artist?

  2. Good word, good thought. You have me “removing my shoes to tour the stillness.” Thanks.

  3. It’s ALL His…every flower…every tree…every drop of rain…every good and perfect gift is from His good and perfect hand. Much love to you this weekend, dear Sheila. God is good.

  4. I love it all. The photo, the word, and the Word. Great combo. And I would love to be an artist … but a “writing” one would work best … and also to rely on the fact that He has founded/created it all. Good and thankful reminder.

    • I love to stretch the boundaries of what we call art. A beautifully-frosted cake can be art. Perfect pigtails in a grandbaby’s hair can be art. 🙂

  5. Remove our shoes? as if we are entering a home with beautiful textures. Yes blogging is like that, differences and thoughts blended together.
